Producer

This project is a short film I supported as a producer, where I was responsible for key production logistics and on-the-ground coordination. The film was shot in Florida, and I led the location scouting process, ultimately selecting St. Augustine for its rich historical atmosphere, which closely aligned with the tone and narrative of the story.

As part of my role, I managed crew coordination and supported budget planning to ensure a smooth and efficient production process. From pre-production decisions to on-set management, I focused on balancing creative needs with practical constraints, helping the project come together cohesively.

Budget Breakdown

As the producer of this short film, I managed a $1,300 budget across a 3-day shoot in St. Augustine, FL, handling location scouting, crew management, and daily expenses for a team of up to 17 people.

I chose St. Augustine deliberately for its 450-year-old historic district, which provided rich production value at no cost. By scaling crew size day-to-day, maintaining a lean reimbursement system, and allocating a $150 contingency fund, we closed the entire production with only $6.59 remaining, near-perfect budget execution on a micro-budget shoot.
