I wrote and directed Rejected Lily, a family drama centered on a Chinese–American immigrant household. Through mixed media, the film blurs the boundary between dream and reality, exploring emotional dislocation, inherited silence, and the crevices beneath the veneer of beauty.

As the cinematographer and gaffer, I shaped the visual language to reflect psychological tension and instability, using layered imagery and textural contrasts to reinforce the film’s dreamlike yet unsettling atmosphere.
